Company profile
The Spektrum-3D Ltd. was founded in January 1992 in Debrecen to sell and manufacture fine chemicals and laboratory equipment. During the years the company has been developed dynamically regarding the product range, the stocks, the number of the employees, the service quality level and of course the turnover. Today - as a Hungarian company - we became one of the largest laboratory suppliers in Hungary. Namely it means 60 millions HUF (approx. 240 000 EURO) of registered capital, near 2 milliard HUF (approx. 8 Mio EURO) yearly turnover and 54 employees.
Our strategic aim is to fulfill all client inquires related to laboratories completely, quickly, trustfully and flexibly. The following main factors issue in the realization of this aim and the continuous development:
- A Hungarian language catalogue having about 1100 pages (the latest is 2009 year edition) which is distributed in more than 4000 copies in the Hungarian laboratories. Along with the fine chemicals and devices needed in the daily work, the catalogue contains increasingly wide variety of laboratory instruments and furniture. We enlarged our product scale with microbiological culture media in 1999 and released a separate 150 pages microbiology catalogue (the latest is 2004 edition).
- Our product range, which is enlarged continuously, is composed of products of more than 200 manufacturers. Several foreign companies are represented by us. The finding and merchandising of products required by specific applications is not a neglectable task either. Our professional and commercial background assures the ability to design, to equip a complete laboratory and to provide the necessary supplies continuously.
- We have established a countrywide distributor network with 19 sales men to assure the daily customer support. Beside the Debrecen headquarter we have commercial sub-offices or local agents in all parts of the country, in Budapest, Veszprém, Pécs, Szeged, Miskolc and Szolnok.
- More than 35 employees, 6200 m2 storage area and office facility provide quick and continuous serving and administrative work. The whole country is covered concerning delivery by our own autotruck fleet and by our subcontractors.
- In order to develop the organization of our activity, we established a quality assurance system based on the ISO 9000 norm in 1997. The system have been audited and certified by TÜV Rheinland Intercert.
The last important event of our company's history that we joined to VWR International, LLC, on 1st August 2008 a leading global laboratory supply company in Europe. We hope that the international experiences of VWR and our national experiences, as well as the integration of our range of products will increase the standard of our services.
